Important Notice - Facility Closed
To protect our community, and in response to the declaration of a State of Emergency in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Mornington Peninsula Shire has made the decision to close all leisure facilities including, Pelican Park Recreation Centre, Civic Reserve Recreation Centre, Crib Point Outdoor Pool, Somerville Recreation Centre and Western Port Gymnastics starting from Tuesday the 17th of March, 2020.
In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments and as a result of the Commonwealth Government decision on public gatherings, the Centre will be closed until further notice as part of our efforts to ensure the continued wellness of our members and staff.

The Centre is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.
The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however, are taking extra precautions during this time.
We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence when it is safe to do so.

Our Centre will be closed from Tuesday 17th March until further notice.
In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments and as a result of the Commonwealth Government decision on public gatherings and following the advice Mornington Peninsula Shire the decision has been made to close the Centre from Tuesday 17th March until further notice as part of our efforts to ensure the continued wellness of our members and staff.
As soon as we are all-clear to reopen, you’ll be the first to know! The good news is we have not received any information to indicate that an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 has been in the Centre.
If you have any Swim School lessons or Personal Training booked, please contact the Aquatics team or your Personal Trainer.
The Centre will be vigilant in implementing infection control procedures including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and will make hand sanitiser available for staff and patrons to use while using the Centre.
For now, the best advice is to follow some simple steps to help slow the spread of the virus and to reduce the risk of infection.
We hope that you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we hope that you will continue to support your community leisure centre upon the reopen.

All direct debit memberships have been suspended. All term memberships will receive time extensions. We will continue to provide further updates as they become available.
